Gareth Booth - Building High-Performance Teams

Gareth Booth is a senior business leader with experience building, leading, and developing teams across different business environments. He has recruited key talent, established performance objectives, and supported employees through training and organisational change. In the course of his career, Gareth Booth has nurtured teams within start-ups, managed cross-functional employees, and introduced initiatives that have improved employee retention.

Currently, Mr. Booth serves as a Commercial Director at Copius Group, where he leads and motivates operational and commercial teams. His responsibilities include setting clear objectives and targets, monitoring progress, and supporting employees to deliver tangible results. Mr. Booth also develops recruitment and attraction strategies based on business requirements and works with teams to ensure client projects are delivered on time.

While working at the Bank of London as a Group Project Director, Mr. Booth helped establish operations in Belfast, London, Charlotte, New York and Vilnius. He also facilitated the recruitment of key talent across the organisation. He also built financial planning and analysis and cash flow capability to support fundraising efforts.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Booth served as Group Financial Controller at Harvey Group. He created and implemented a senior management training programme in collaboration with the Institute of Leadership and Management. The programme contributed to a 15 percent reduction in employee turnover. His responsibilities also included supporting senior management and overseeing employee grievances, dismissal cases, and performance issues.
